The #1 ranked San Tan Charter Roadrunners put on a show in Prescott over the weekend, bringing home wins over #16 Kingman Academy 84-44 in the first round, along with a 105-45 win over #8 Horizon Honors in the quarterfinals, to advance to the AIA 2A State Championship Semifinals on Friday, February 23. On Friday, it was junior Kylen Bonner and freshman Peyton Lubash leading the way with 17 points each against Kingman Academy, but Bonner stealing the show recording his 1,000th career point with the Roadrunners in his third season. On Saturday, Lubash scored 17 in the first quarter on his way to a game-high 33, while junior Zaire Richardson added 23 for San Tan in the dominating victory.

The Roadrunners will face Phoenix Christian this Friday, 10:30 AM at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. The 2A State Championship game is slated for Saturday, 2:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
