San Tan Charter senior forward Terrence Richardson has committed to play Division I basketball at the University of Wyoming of the Mountain West Conference.

The Chicago native, a member of the Class of 2027, stands 6-foot-8 and 185 pounds with a 7-foot wingspan and a vertical of more than 40 inches. He spent the summer with YnR's top 17U team before joining the Roadrunners for his senior season, and he has wasted no time making an impact: he opened San Tan's Border League bracket title run earlier this month with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting in a 76-54 win over NLV Venom.

Richardson is an explosive, high-motor forward who plays above the rim. He puts constant pressure on the basket as a cutter and finisher, crashes the offensive glass for second-chance points, and uses his length to protect the rim and guard multiple frontcourt spots, with a developing perimeter shot that makes him even tougher to defend. His style has drawn comparisons to Blake Griffin.

"I'm extremely grateful to say these words: COMMITTED."
